Graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), with management courses at the University of Sofia in Tokyo, and Hotel Administration, Cornell University,USA.
Chieko Aoki founded his company in 1992. In 1997, it launched the Blue Tree Hotelsflag. The businesswoman's mission is to consolidate the network as the most respected Brazilian hotel operator, with recognition for the high quality, elegance and style of services. With long experience in the hotel area, Aoki has worked in various places around the world, such as the United States, Asia and Europe.
He began acting in 1982 as Marketing and Sales Director of Caesar Park, São Paulo, and later became president of Caesar Park Hotels & Resorts and the oldest and most traditional hotel company in the United States, Westin Hotels & Resorts.
Known as the lady of Brazilian hospitality, she has the position of "benchmark" in excellence of services in the sector. Participates in several private and governmental organizations, such as the Board of Entrepreneurs of Latin America (CEAL), Group of Business Leaders (LIDE), Brazil-Japan group of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP), Brazilian Academy of Events, Association of the Centenary of Japanese Immigration and several entities related to tourism.
In 2006, she was elected president of LIDEM - Group of Women Business Leaders - and began to occupy a chair at the Brazilian Marketing Academy, an entity created to integrate the best Brazilian professionals working in marketing activities. He recently assumed the chairmanship of the Advisory Board of ADVB-Japan.
Chieko Aoki also works for the development of economic and cultural relations between Brazil, Japan and Latin America. Actively participates in philanthropic activities and social in nature, for which it contributes to fundraising and resources.
